We invite designers from around the world to create posters inspired by POV Budapest's theme this year: The Act.

About 100 years ago, Constructivist artists believed that art should do more than hang on a wall, it should have a real impact on everyday life. The theme The Act builds on that idea.

Design often starts in a controlled environment, but once it enters the real world—in cities, public spaces, services, apps, and daily routines—it begins to influence how people think, choose, and behave.

A design is more than just an image. The ideas and values behind it can shape decisions, and those decisions can lead to actions. However, designers cannot fully control how people will use, interpret, or respond to their work.

This year's theme asks you to think about the relationship between design and action. What does your design make possible? What behaviors does it encourage? How does it affect the world beyond the poster itself?Perhaps what matters most is not what a design looks like, but what it makes people do.
